After graduating with honors from Wichita State University in 1987, Nancy practiced in a variety of settings, including acute care, home health, long-term care and outpatient orthopedics. Her work experience includes Director of Rehabilitation at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado as well as Director of Physical Therapy at Neosho MemorialRegional Medical Center in Chanute, KS. She is licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts and is certified as an ergonomic assessment specialist, in ErgoScience Physical Work Performance Evaluations and ASTYM soft tissue mobilization. She became a co-founder of WorkSafe Physical Therapy in July 2000 and the sole owner in December of 2011.
With a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma, Becky began her career at Wesley Medical Center in 1979. She moved to St. Joseph Hospital which later became Via Christi. For 10 years Becky was the coordinator of the Via Christi Outpatient Clinic in Andover, Kansas. Before joining WorkSafe Physical Therapy Becky was employed at another outpatient clinic where she began working in the industrial rehabilitation setting. She is a certified ASTYM soft tissue mobilization clinician and holds a certifications in ErgoScience Physical Work Performance Evaluations and ERGOS functional capacity testing as well as Matheson Systems Job Analysis and Post-offer Employment Testing. Becky is also a level 3 Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
Lela enjoys using her manual therapy skills to enhance patient healing and educating them. She teaches them about their injury, their healing process and encourages them to work through their rehab program to return to work quickly and pain free.
Having spent most of her career in outpatient orthopedic clinics Lela was ready to work with patients in a new setting. At WorkSafe she is excited to learn about ergonomics and gain other skills.
Melody started working with WorkSafe in 2000 as a marketing consultant and came on board in the office in April 0f 2015. Melody brings over 35 years of business and marketing experience to WorkSafe.
Before she came out of retirement to join the staff at WorkSafe, Melody’s career had been in the Internet and website design industry. The companies she worked for included: Access Group, NetVision Technologies, and Heartland ITS.
She is a Wichita native and a graduate of WSU.
